Frequently Asked Questions

With Microsoft's release of Internet Explorer 7 on the PC platform, a problem with Adobe Acrobat may occur on some computers. We recommend two possible solutions:

  1. Download the latest version of Acrobat Reader from Adobe.com. (Be careful to read the download information. You could wind up downloading some other stuff that you don't want!) If the problem persists, try opening and minimizing Acrobat Reader first, then request your documents from this website or...
  2. Download the Firefox browser and use it instead. This, in our opinion, is a better solution for several reasons. The Flash buttons work as they originally did with Internet Explorer (you only have to click on them once), and Firefox may be more secure. And Adobe Acrobat functions perfectly.

There is an issue when using Internet Explorer version 7 (or higher) . Whereas before, you only had to click once on the buttons on the HOA's home page, now you need to DOUBLE CLICK them.

Furthermore, Internet Explorer may complain about a security issue with Flash (there is none, at least not on the wildernestHOA.com site), which is used to make the buttons on HOA pages. You will see this at the top of the page. You may need to explicitly allow Flash.

There are many documents on this site. The majority of HOA-specific documents are in Adobe Acrobat format. You need to have the free Adobe Acrobat reader installed on your computer to read them. Click the icon below to obtain and install the free reader:

When I go to my HOA's home page, I can't see the buttons. What's wrong?

Our HOA pages use Macromedia's "Flash". Click the icon below if you don't already have this free plug-in. According to Macromedia, between 90% and 96% of all browers already have and use this plug-in!

What about putting event pictures on our website?

If you can e-mail our webmaster with a limited number of pictures (either scanned or from a digital camera) he can put them on your pictures page. Pictures may be changed at reasonable intervals, and older pictures will be replaced by newer ones.
